So yesterday, Kim and I went to see Date Night (awesome) and got to swing around Target for some supplies. I got a scale, yoga mat (to do the p90 exercises) and batteries. So today, I can finally weight myself (I'm 172 lbs right now). I plan on running at home tonight after grad class.

Today, I had some mixed baby greens, with a smattering of honey mustard and maybe two cups of rice. Although, I should probably be eating high-fat meal for breakfast and then eating high carbs at night. The mouse study shows this:

Why would it matter whether mice eat a high-fat meal for breakfast or for dinner? The researchers think it’s because that first meal of the day sets the body’s metabolism – those who eat a hearty breakfast are able to handle a regular meal at dinnertime, but those who start the day with carbs aren’t equipped to process a high-fat meal later on.

I guess I should start eating an egg and half a turkey bacon to start my metabolism. I think i can get on board with that. Finally, a reason to eat breakfast!
